Seeking full-time Youth Director
Whitworth Church is surrounded by the Whitworth University campus in Spokane, WA with 600-700 attendees in Sunday worship. Our goal as a church is to be and make disciples of Jesus Christ with a strong emphasis on missions. We are looking for an experienced youth director able to start this summer (2008) to lead 7th grade through 12th grade students and youth leaders. We have up to 150 youth in our weekly programs with around 300 registered as “active” in the church. Major responsibilities include Sunday morning SS, Wednesday evening youth group, monthly events, discipleship groups, summer camps, and mission trips. This position oversees the Assistant Youth Director, part time interns, and a strong volunteer pool. We seek those with at least 3 years of professional youth ministry experience who are able to train leaders, lead large group talks, and disciple students.
