Family Ministries

If you ask yourself, “How can I develop significant relationships with my family and other families?” you’re asking a great question! Our world today is in desperate need of strong families. It is through families that a person primarily gains faith, and is transformed by Christ. It is families that determine the health of a child’s future. It is families that make up the most basic unit of community within our culture. click here to view our Family Ministry Brochure - 2008/2009

Join our Family

Because of the essential role families have in our lives as the primary place one gains faith, the church must partner with parents in developing the faith of children. Because of this truth, we constantly develop programs that empower the family to do this God-given work. We help parents articulate their faith so that they might pass it on. This means a focus on strengthening the high quality programming we provide, as well as creating new programs that strengthen parents and families.

I would love to have you join our Family! If you have any questions, ideas, concerns, or just want to hear from the Family Pastor, please drop me a note

(markm@whitpres.org). I look forward to knowing you!

Deuteronomy 11:18-21
"18 You shall put these words of mine in your heart and soul, and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and fix them as an emblem on your forehead. 19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise. 20 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, 21 so that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land that the LORD swore to your ancestors to give them, as long as the heavens are above the earth."

Cutting Edge Ministry
We are on the cutting edge of ministry by equipping parents, teaching youth and children, and helping families become a beacon of Christ’s light. This ministry helps children learn what it means to follow Christ, to know the Bible, and to love God. More than 85% of all Christians have made the choice to follow Christ before the age of 18. Therefore, touching these kids lives before graduating high school increase the chances of them developing a relationship with Christ.
