Jesus called us to do one thing; we are called to fulfill the Great Commission through the two Great Commandments and to do so as a unified community of faith (Mt 28:18-20 Mk 12:28-31 Jn 17:20-23). Rob Eyman has a heart for helping others grow in faith. Believing that the Great Commission will be fulfilled through those who are growing as disciples of Jesus Christ, Rob seeks to nurture a church that is vitally connected to Christ, His community, and His cause. While one’s spiritual growth is an intimately personal thing, living the life for which Christ redeemed us is far more than merely an individual encounter with God. God’s plan is that our spiritual growth be experienced as a community that matures together in the faith as the family of God shares the calling, joys, sorrows, celebrations, and burdens of life along the way.
Rob received a call to ministry while attending Ohio University. Following two years on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ, he entered Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, graduating in 1989. He served twelve years as an Associate Pastor in West Lafayette, Indiana, and then received a call to become pastor for Whitworth Presbyterian in 2001. In addition to his undergraduate and seminary training, he has also earned a Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Formation from Fuller Theological Seminary. Rob and Anne have been married for twenty one years and have four children ranging in age from 6 to 20.

Phone: 509 466-0305 Ext: 117 "Spiritual Formation means being and making disciples."
“The church has only one thing to do: make disciples of Jesus Christ.” Steve Watts’ ministry calls people to an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ beyond simple church activities. As Pastor of Spiritual Formation, his passion for disciple-making is evident in his speaking, teaching, and leadership. Steve’s 22 years of professional ministry have included conference directing, educational ministries, youth and family ministries, pastoral leadership, and missionary service. He is a graduate of Whitworth College and Fuller Theological Seminary. At WCPC, Steve’s goal is to support Spiritual Formation and Equipping Ministries, which are part of an emerging plan to be and make disciples of Jesus in Spokane. The Spiritual Formation ministry team includes Jolene Baldwin, the Director of Discipleship. Steve’s wife Kathy serves in WCPC in women’s ministries. They have two school age children. |
Pastor of Families, Youth and Children Mark McIlraith mailto:markm@whitpres.org

I would love to have you join our family programs!
Family Ministries: Drawing the family together through the bond of Christ. Our world desperately needs strong families. It is through families that a person primarily gains faith (not the church!). It is families that determine the health of a child’s future. It is families that make up the most basic unit of community within our culture. And it is families that are in need of support while surrounded by negative influences. Mark McIlraith and WCPC are on the cutting edge of ministry by addressing these issues through equipping parents, teaching youth and children, and helping families become a beacon of Christ’s light reaching out to their neighbors and the Spokane community. Mark is a graduate of Whitworth College after which he co-founded Westminster House, an inner-city ministry in Spokane. Following 11 years as a professional actor (west coast and New York City), Mark responded to God calling him to ordained ministry. He graduated from Princeton Seminary in 2001. After three years in Colorado, Mark now joins us as the Pastor of Families, Youth and Children. |
